A little trip to Vegas baby!!

I was asked to go on a quick trip to vegas with some of the coolest people i know! Kristy, Mitch, and Corban. The drive down was super snowy and crazy, but totally worth it. We stopped to get some dinner at a little mexican place...I forgot what it was called. Corban and I shared a shredded beef burito and it was simply splendid. I was in some major need of lik-a-sticks, but settled for super sized smarties. We made it safe and sound, a little late, but safe and sound. When we got there we revved our engines with some caffeine and doughnuts and learned a few gambling tricks and we were off to bed. We woke up the next morning with a full day ahead of us. We made our way to the Flamingo for a fabulous breakfast buffet/lunch buffet. The ducks and fish were very entertaining! Just a little secret, flamingos creep me out..they were everywhere!!

Here they are!!

And this is the crazy bird...I have no idea what kind it is.

And These are our little Turtle friends! I think i loved them the most.

Then we were off to the conservatory! We thought there were going to be butterflies but instead we were greated by this guy...what a surprise for us.

They have changed the exibit...We walked around for a long time. There was alot to look at.

The place was filled with Orchids.

I found Some really cool rocks with flowers.

Some of these,

and some awesome Kumquat trees. I really like those little guys!

After that we ventured over to the M&M store and watched a 3D movie. The lady that worked there was a bust, she hated her job and you could tell. It gave us all a pretty good laugh. Then we went over to the Coca Cola store and tried the sodas around the world. That was total entertainment. Mitch drang the nasty one from Italy, and the face he made was priceless. It lasted for at least 45 seconds! That still brings a smile to my face. Thanks Mitchie!! We went back for a nap and woke up in time for a 50 piece nugget challenge. We walked ourselves over to McDonalds and started our challenge. I got to 9 and started to get sick, I think Corban made it to 20 and went into a true nugget coma!! No joke, we almost lost him lol. Mitch did a good job too i think he almost got to 20. And Kristy She was the luckiest of all because she does not eat meat, so she got to experience all of our reactions.

Our last day there we went to Freemont Street. I was not going to miss the fried Oreos and the fried Twinkies Corban was talking about all weekend. They were just as marvelouse as he made them sound. I also had one of the best hot dogs of my entire life! I love hot dogs. Then we had a long drive home. Corb is a safe driver, so i was glad he was driving. It was kinda stormy, by kinda I mean alot. Everyone was sliding off the road, but not us. We got home with good time and all in one piece. Thanks guys for the awesome weekend. It was much needed!
